100 is the new 80!
Centenarians-people who live to be 100 and older - are a growing
minority.
"According to the Tampa Tribune, there are about 79,000
centenarians in the US, but this number is set to double witin 10
years and top one million by 2050. In 1960 there were only 3.300
people living in the US over 100-years-old. According to the US
Census Bureau, one of every 26 baby boomers will reach 100. And
this is a worldwide phenomenon. By 2033 the amount of
centenarians on the planet is predicted to quintuple!"
