| Birthday Party Ideas The most fun parties for kids tend to be the ones they can participate in. Strap your creative thinking hat on and think about how much fun, excitement and anticipation is involved in a Birthday party for kids of all ages. Then think costume. How fun is it to dress up and creatively add to the atmosphere of the party! Below are a few ideas. Please send your Fantabulous Party Ideas for any type of party to Jennifer@ParentsConnections.com! Parties are fun! Have one just because! Kids love to dress up, eat cake and play games so celebrate life. Parties don't have to be expensive either, have everyone bring a dish next time you have a spur of the moment gathering. Super Hero Party Have everyone create their own Super Hero or come dressed as an existing one. This Party is fun because everyone gets to use their imagination. It is amazing to see what kind of super hero's kids can create...but it is also fun to see what kind of super hero's grown ups come up with as well! Creatively Theme Your Party If your Birthday celebration is in October for example, have a costume party! Everyone loves to wear their Halloween costumes and usually only get to wear them once. Princess Party Every little girl is a Princess, celebrate her royalty with monthly Princess Parties. Gather 5-10 girls and invite them and their moms over for Saturday morning milk and donuts. All attending should come in their finest Princess attire. While the little Princesses chat, eat and bead jewelry or color pictures Moms can enjoy time together and maybe sip coffee and eat off of the fine china you otherwise would never use. Another fun tip is to have each Princess bring a gift under $5.00 and before everyone leaves the party have each Princess select a gift and let them all open at the same time. Once a Princess, always a Princess! Gathering the girls together on a regular basis is also a great way to do good deeds for those in need. Have the girls bake cookies and take to a retirement home, police station or fire department. Have them gather a gift or two each and at Christmas time, take them to a local children's hospital to give gifts to young patients. I have been successfully doing Princess Parties for four years. If you would like to start a Princess Party group in your area let me know - I can help you get started....we can create a Princess Party Nation!!! Jennifer@ParentsConenctions.com Holiday/Christmas Party Ring in the Holiday with a great party....this is also a great way to enjoy an evening without the kids. As a host, you supply all of the beverages and ask your guests to each bring a dish. Enjoy a night of dancing and conversing with your party guests. Make it fun for the kids....Send yours to a family members for a fun evening or have several other families pitch in and use a neighbors home that is close to yours, and hire a couple of babysitters to watch the kids. This idea creates a kids night as well and with them being close, parents can take turns going over to check on them. Make the party productive...have everyone bring a card or a care package for a soldier. Hard to find Themes Taylor writes: My daughter always seems to pick the party theme that is hard to find accessories for. For instance, Jimmy Neutron. I never thought it would be so hard to find party supplies for Jimmy Neutron a very popular cartoon. Well, thank you EBAY. I found all my supplies from an EBAY seller in Canada. So next time you have a hard to find theme...search EBAY. |
